“Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to ALTS!” ALTS (short for Oxford University Alternative Pick-up Ice Hockey Club) is a society where we play an alternative, non-contact form of ice hockey aimed at beginners to intermediates. You don’t need any experience in ice hockey or skating ability (you pick it up pretty fast). It’s non-contact, so there is no need to buy stupidly expensive padding and not only is it great fun, but a good chance to meet people from different colleges.
Absolutely everyone is welcome, bring friends down to form a team or just turn up and join a team (we’ll sort that out for you). We provide all the equipment and skates can be hired at the rink. Just pop down to Oxford Ice Rink at the appropriate time (check the sessions time below). We promise you’ll have an awesome time!
